In January 2025, Firefly Aerospace launched their first lunar lander to the Moon. Blue Ghost will deliver 10 instruments to the moon as part of NASA's Commercial Lunar Payload Services initiative. We got to develop a set of animations that highlight key parts of the mission.

Firefly had a model ready for us to use. We improved some of the materials for extra realism and prepared all items that needed to deploy for animation.

Firefly wanted to achieve a certain level of scientific accuracy. We sat down with their lead engineer to make sure the position of Blue Ghost relative to the surface and the Sun was accurate. We also replicated part of the landscape where Blue Ghost will land.
