Our story started back in 2016 with the launch of the Real Engineering YouTube channel, founded by Brian McManus. Over the years, the channel has grown to become one of the most popular and respected engineering channels on the internet, winning the National Space Society’s Space Pioneer award in 2024.

Working within the limited budgets of YouTube productions, we have become experts in developing cost-effective engineering animations. We are confident we can deliver visually.

At Throttle, we focus on making complex topics more accessible to a larger audience. There's often a gap between technical accuracy and accessibility to layman audiences. We bridge that gap by leveraging our knowledge as engineers and designers, backed up by years of experience in science communication.
